If your foot missed the pedal and stepped down to the ground, you could break your ankle and crash very badly.

Can you explain foot position on the foot platform. Not only is the platform long but on one end there is a bend. There are a lot of video's showing people on the street strider but I have not seen an explanation of the benefits of having a foot in a different location or position (on ball of foot or flat on platform). Seems like this would be the first thing explained. The foot platform is very large. I have not seen a video explaining why the foot platform is so large or the benefits of having your feet in different locations on the foot platforms. In this video the placement of the foot is more in the middle in some the foot is all the way forward. In other video's people have their feet all the way forward and some further back than in this one. Also I noticed when paddling with crocs my croc would sometimes get between the foot platform and bike frame and rub against the frame which could have been worse if it had prevented the movement of the foot platform and jolted me. Now that I am aware of the problem of foot placement with the croc I am more careful regarding my placement of the foot and the angle of my foot.

Do you steer with tilt like a skateboard? then you have to learn to do it in such a way that I don't wobble while driving, because then I'm moving on a wavy line.

We tackled assembling the bike as a family project. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzg0clhbtRf2gGxPkVETFKJJKGqdsorQu The package is heavy, but I have 2 teen boys that were able to move it. The written instructions were great- we didn't need to watch the videos, but it was good knowing that the option was there if we needed it. After we were able to get it set up, the boys each rode 3 miles and I rode 8 and the bike stayed quiet. The display is easy to reset, and you can put it on whichever setting you are using (time, distance, calories, etc). I will say that my butt is a little sore from the seat, but that could be because I haven't rode in a while. While it is comfortable for me, it was not comfortable with the seat position for my friend (could not move the seat back far enough and he slightly looked like a kid riding a tricycle that he had outgrown). He also said that the seat hurt his manly parts. We are going to look for a different seat that will be compatible with this bike for him.I did purchase the Wahoo Cadence sensor and strapped it to the crank of one of the pedals. This will sync with my Apple Watch, iPhone and will import data in to my Health app. Wahoo does have other sensors available other than cadence. I can also keep either my phone or my iPad on the display and they both feel pretty secure.

I did not find it relaxing to ride. Pedaling and balancing an unstable device like that felt like labor. You have to have space so that you do not care about going in a straight line. Not for a narrow corridor like a bike path or a bike lane. I returned mine. I am a pretty fit guy , but a senior. I love skiing , where you turn all the time. But some things , well , one wants to easily go straight.

Would be nice if a city/suburban community was built with electric elliptical street striders, ebikes, dual kangaroo "pogo sticks", roller blades, velomobiles, e-kick scooters in mind O_o. Maybe have some shared program, and have random cameras to make sure that kids don't do things to the vehicles.

I love this guy! His pride in the product HE INVENTED, and his desire to have everyone who purchases his product have a successful experience with it, clearly comes through in this video, particularly at the end when he demonstrates how to get started riding it. My wife saw this product this morning. We both watched the product video, and determined, at 70 and 63, that this was exactly what we needed to maintain fitness and weight. We are also blessed to live on a flat Island with 120 miles of bike paths! So we each gave a 7i to the other one, for Christmas 2022! Can't wait to get started!

I was out riding my street strider 3i & the frame cracked right underneath the fold joint on the welded seal. The company sent me a new frame with the bottom bracket bearings & square tapers attached to the frame. I'm very nervous about taking apart my old street strider & putting together the new one. Taking all of the brake & gear shift wires out of the old frame & putting them into the new frame correctly looks like it's going to be very tough to accomplish. Adjusting the wheels (the back wheel came loose once on the old bike - I don't understand why there is a locking nut on the right side of the rear wheel but no locking nut on the left side ), keeping the tire pressure at the correct PSI, steering, brakes & everything else was so difficult when I first put my old street strider together. I have never been able to get the gear shifter to shift to gear 3 no matter what I adjust or do to the gear shift assembly. I hope it is easier when I'm putting the gear shift assembly on the new frame. It was mostly assembled before, what if all of the parts do not fit correctly & tightly on the new bike after I put it together? I'm worried about my safety & hope that I don't have any problems while taking apart the old bike & assembling the new one. I can't afford to go to a bike mechanic & am not mechanically inclined. Do you have any advice on where to put the parts after taking them off the old frame & before putting them on the new frame? My family & I are very concerned that I may do something wrong when trying to put this street strider together. I’m worried about what parts of the bike to add lubricants to on the bike. I hope that I’m not bothering you & that you can give some advice to help me take apart my old street strider & put together the new one. Any help that you could give me with my street strider would be appreciated because I’ve been worrying about getting this finished so that I can get back outside & focus on my workouts again & not on my safety. I hope this bike will last me for several years & that I don't have any more problems. Thanks for your time.

Any help that you could give me with my street strider would be appreciated because I’ve been worrying about getting this finished so that I can get back outside & focus on my workouts again & not on my safety. I hope this bike will last me for several years & that I don't have any more problems. Thanks for your time.
